Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

Iowa State University’s Department of Apparel, Events, and Hospitality Management invites applications for a Lecturer (non-tenure track) position.

Position responsibilities include undergraduate teaching, in a class to be determined based upon need. The Lecturers will teach a variety of hospitality management classes.

Required Education and Experience

Master’s degree in Hospitality Management;

Experience working in hospitality management.

Preferred Education and Experience

PhD in hospitality management;

Experience teaching hospitality management classes.

ISU’s Hospitality Management Program has been consistently identified as one of the top programs in the world. Faculty and graduate students are well represented at major international conferences. There are currently 200 undergraduates, 15 masters, and 35 doctoral students, served by 14 faculty. The program is ACPHA-accredited.
